by registering to join meet irl, you commit to following our core principles when it comes to meeting new people & dating.
not following our guidelines will result in removal from our community.
respect
meet irl community members show respect to one another, regardless of whether we are interested in them romantically or not.
racism, sexism, discrimination of any kind, and any form of unkindness is not welcome here.
consent
meet irl community members commit to establishing consent with other members as relationships evolve.
we encourage all members to practice enthusiastic consent and have clear communication around boundaries. see our community resources to learn more.
communication
it’s okay to not be interested in someone, and it’s okay to change your mind.
please show kindness to courtesy to other members by respectfully communicating if you don’t want to pursue a relationship with them. please, no ghosting.
no shows
our events are curated because we know how frustrating it is to not have the right mix of people at dating events. no shows & late cancellations undo the hard work we put into this, and may result in removal from the community.
